Honoring the Past, Embracing the Present, and Inspiring the Future: Tour de France Kickoff in Euskadi

This weekend marks the start of the Tour de France, with the Grand Depart in Euskadi and a stage starting from Vitoria-Gasteiz, where our Headquarters are. It's an electrifying event that holds great significance for our region, known for its rich cycling heritage. Cycling runs through the veins of our cooperative, and we wanted to pay tribute to this passion with stunning artwork adorning the entrance of our headquarters. Renowned Vitorian artist Alain Larreina masterfully captured the essence of our cooperative's past, present, and future by showcasing two remarkable Vitorian cyclists.

Igor González de Galdeano

One of them is the exceptional Oier Lazkano, a rising star in the cycling world, who recently triumphed as the champion of Spain. The other is none other than Igor González de Galdeano, the legendary Alava-born cyclist, who achieved tremendous success in multiple Tour de France stages, and who has been chosen due to his commitment to mentoring young talents throughout his company Kirolife. Over the years, he has facilitated the relationship between athletes, the company, and educational institutions, ensuring that aspiring elite athletes can continue their studies. Igor's invaluable work, which is not easy, serves as an example for society.

This is a tribute to our cyclists, the evolution of our cooperative, the beginning of a competition like the Tour in our city, and the deep connection to cycling within RPK Group. It represents our pride and commitment to both sports and community. Together, we pedal towards new horizons, driven by our unwavering commitment to success.
